La Peaulogie accepts submissions on a double-blind review process
La Peaulogie accepts submissions through a double-blind review process. All stages of the submission process will take place online, on our evaluation platform. We choose, along with the coordinators, the evaluators according to your subject. We hope to ensure a fair review process.
Interviews and book reviews are not formally peer reviewed, the editorial team will offer suggestions prior to publication. The editorial team also reserves the right not to accept these works if they do not fall within the editorial line of the journal.
In some cases, your submission may be accepted immediately. This means that little or no reviews are needed and the work can no longer be published anywhere else.
A submission may be rejected; this means that the text no longer has any connection with the journal and will not be published in this issue.
Most of the time, we will ask you to revise and resubmit your submission. In this case, revisions are necessary for your article to be accepted. It is up to you to decide if you continue with the process. Once your new version has been sent, the submission will be reviewed again! This will continue until your item is accepted or rejected.
The 5 steps of the process
All submissions should be placed on the journal’s review platform. They will then be reviewed by the editorial team before moving on to step 2. The author will be notified of the receipt of the submission and the results of step 1.
Submissions will be assigned two reviewers, anonymous, each to ensure a fair review process. Once the assessment is complete, the experts will send their recommendations on the text to the editorial team.
In some cases, a bid may be accepted immediately. This means that the work can no longer be published anywhere else. A submission may be rejected; this means that the text no longer has any connection with the journal and will not be published in this issue. This will continue until the article is accepted or rejected.
Once the submission is finalized, it is sent back to the editorial team for final review. If the editorial team proposes new changes, a new version of the text will be sent to the author for approval. At this stage, changes made are at the discretion of the editorial staff, due to time constraints in publishing.
Finalized submissions will be posted online, and a print version of the publication will be prepared.
